Those who know can tell those who do not know
Mr Amilal was a second rank leader of a political party. He was very talkative and ‘hazir jawab’. One day, there was a public meeting of the party in a village. This was to be addressed by topmost rank party leader. On 11th hour he had to go for emergency meeting at Delhi. AmiLal was assigned the job. He went to the village without homework and started addressing the people, “ Yah to aap jantey hi hain ki—”. People as usual nodded in in affirmative. AmiLal said , “Fine! If you already know then namstey and the meeting ends.” The villagers were taken aback. They again fixed a meeting and wanted AmiLal to be the speaker. AmiLal as usual went wiyhout homework and statrted addressing, “Yah to aap jantey hi hain ki—”.This time the people responded in negative. AmiLal again immediately said, “You are grown up people ,if you donot know even now then what is the fun of telling at this age? Fine! Namaste. The meeting is over.” The villagers got angry and decided a meeting 3rd time and insisted for AmiLal to be the main speaker. He told his leader that he could manage two times, it will be difficult to manage further. But he was ordered to attend the meeting.Ultimately AmiLal went to the village. The whole village came to listen him.He was again without homework and he again started addressing, “Yah to aap jantey hi hain ki—”. Half of the people replied in affirmative and half replied in negative. AmiLal said, “O.K. Those who know should tell to those who donot know. Namaste and the meeting is over”.
